Knitting Mammas
Sharon helps to organize a group of knitters who meet weekly at the Squirrel Hill Public Library on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00. We meet in one of the meeting rooms near the Marlborough Street entrance/children’s section of the library.
We welcome absolute beginners and would be happy to help you learn how to knit or help with your current project. We welcome everyone to join us—-pregnant mammas, new mammas with babies, moms with grown up babes, moms with grandchildren—EVERYONE! Occasionally, we meet at Yoga Matrika or some other location if the library meeting room isn’t available. So, if you want to keep up with where we are knitting, please join the mailing list. After you put in your e-mail address you will be directed to choose your area of interest—-make sure you check off the KNITTING box! Then you should get all of our knitting mammas updates.
This is a great way to meet other moms in a low pressure, creative and joyful environment. Even if you don’t knit, you are absolutely welcome to come and chat with us and check our group out. Be careful, we will probably make a knitter out of you in no time!
